<p>The connection terminal comprises a rectangular block of insulating material in which there are two flat conductive plates. Each plate (1,2) is basically square with a square hole cut in the middle. Each side of the square is extended in one direction only to provide a connection terminal (4) to which a cube of conducting material is attached (5). Each cube has a hole (6) parallel to the plane of the flat plate to receive a wire, and a threaded hole (7) at right angles to receive a grip screw. The cubes are arranged on the two plates so that they all lie in the same plane, and there are two cubes, one from each plate adjacent to each of the four cube sides. Each plate provides one connection block and it is possible to include more than two in an insulating block. The block may be made of thermoplastic resin.</p> |
