Method of injecting sealing compound into multi pair telephone cables is to prevent water creepage along the cable from a fracture point. The cables are the polyethylene-sheathed, polyethylene conductor-insulated type. The sealing compound is pumped from a heated supply vessel along a pipe to a cooler so that the compound is injected into the cable at room temperature.
