The windscreen wiper arm fixture comprises a lever (27, 28) which is secured on the wiper drive shaft (25) and carries a pivoted hook to hold the end of the wiper arm. The wiper blade pressure is provided by a tension spring (50), at one end (51) fixed to the arm, whilst the other end is held on the lever by a C-clip (49) on a pin (14) at a point below the hook pivot (29). The position of this pin relative to the pivot is manually adjustable by a screw (30) in a bush (40) carrying the pin, in order to alter the moment of the spring force acting on the arm and thus the wiper blade pressure. Alternatively, the pin may be rotatable to provide this adjustment.
