<p>Cladding elements, of U-profile shape, have shanks with bent-back sections engaging recesses in carrier rails, to make up cladding for a ceiling, wall or elsewhere. In addition to their profile protrusions for engagement with the sections of the cladding elements (2), the shanks (10,11) of the rails (3) incorporate securing protrusions (32) extending towards the inside of the elements via stem pieces (25). These protrusions are pref. at right angles to the inside faces, and can be prestressed to fit against them resiliently. Secure cladding element anchorage is provided without use of additional components, the units being simple and easily mounted.</p> |
