<p>The low drag radiator for a water cooled engine has special body panels with heat exchanger coils (7) on the underside and coupled to the engine. The system does not require any conventional radiator nor any engine cooling fan. The cooling panels are distributed about the body shape with most of the sections around the engine compartment. The heat exchanger coils (7) are applied directly to the underside of the body panels for good thermal contact, and can be covered with interior ducts (13) for improved cooling.</p> |
