The rotary adjusting knob has a number display scale with the digit setting illuminated by lighting. The knob has quadrant slots located around a central bore that locates over a spindle on the actuating mechanism. A light conducting element locates between the knob and the actuator mounting plate. The display disc has a series of numbers printed around the periphery and has two pins that locate in the slots in the knob and pass into the actuator plate.
