A hub (ME) is intended to equip a vehicle axle and to be secured by bolting to a wheel (R) comprising a disc (VR) provided with at least two substantially planar first zones (Z1) that each comprise a first hole (T1) through which a shank (TV) of a bolt (VS) can pass. This hub (ME) comprises an interface plate (Dl) provided with at least two planar second zones (Z2) that each comprise, on a rear face (FR) away from the disc (VR), a housing (LE) in which a second hole (T2) is defined and in which a peripheral part (PP) of a nut (EV) is locked, said peripheral part (PP) having a concave shape with respect to this rear face (FR) and being able to define an elastic reserve for tightening a bolt (VS) involved in the bolting of the wheel (R).
