DC relay with AC immunity armature - has weights for bolting to armature to alter characteristics

The dc relay is adapted for protection against interfering ac by additional weights being screw fixed onto the armature to alter the inertia characteristics. The relay comprises a winding (W) on a core (K) with a wrap around yoke (J) to the armature (A) which operates the springsets. The inertia of the armature is adjusted by attaching different weights (Z) directly to the armature (A) using the screw fixing (SCH). The relay is also slugged using an end ring (R) and an inner tube (H), of good conductivity, to improve protection against a.c. interference.
