A junction box is easy to instal and produces an easily surveyable wiring system. It is made with a fitted cover that engages in clamps along the edges of the box. The box is made with cut-outs for the incoming and outgoing cables. The clamps (21) are fitted with terminals which are accessible from the outside and from the inside. Each external connection (311) is made with a number of parallel connected internal connections. The external connections are made as screwed terminals and the internal connection as plug-in terminals.
