PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which can smoothly perform telescopic adjustment to an elongation side.SOLUTION: A fastening mechanism fastens a first side plate to a second side plate by a fastening member 32. A cross section diamond-shaped boss part 50 of the fastening member 32 is inserted into a telescopic long groove 23 of the second side part. An external periphery 50a of the boss part 50 includes a first corner part 61 and a third corner part 63 which form obtuse angles, and oppose each other. The first corner part 61 is arranged at an upper side XU in an axial direction X being a lower side YL in a tilt direction Y, and the third corner 63 is arranged at a lower side XL in the axial direction X being an upper side YU in the tilt direction Y. A diagonal distance DT between the first corner part 61 and the third corner part 63 is shorter than a groove width W of the telescopic long grove 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
