<p>The system is for building a window into an opening in a wall and enables sound and heat insulation to be incorporated. Sealing work is always open to inspection, and durable elastic connection is provided between soffit and frame. At the two upright sides of the opening, interfacing soffit (1) surfaces and window frame (2) and/or case (9) surfaces are inclined at a fixed angle to each other, so as to form an intervening wedge joint gap. Wedge-shaped units, of heat-insulating material, are inserted in these gaps, continuously over virtually the whole height of the window frame.</p> |
