The vehicle consists of steerable front part (2) and follower part (3). The front part (6) of the follower (6) has a ball joint (7), on which the rear part (8) of the front vehicle part (2) is seated. Parts (8) and (6) are prevented from becoming disengaged by plate (10) rigidly connected to part (8). The plate projects in direction of follower (3) and carries pivots (11) and (12) serving as fulcra for the damping cylinder assemblies (13,14). Each cylinder assembly consists of a twin cylinder (15) containing a partition in the middle of its length, hereby forming two cylinder spaces in which two pistons with respective piston rods (21,22) are operating. Piston rods ( 21) are connected by ball joints (27,28) to vehicle part (3) and cylinder rods (22) are connected by ball joints ( 11,12) to vehicle part (2).
