<p>The steam chamber (1) of the decatising machine is composed of two cylindrical sections (1a, 1b), with their longitudinal centre lines intersecting at right angles. Both ends of one section (1b) are sealed with bases (1c), and both ends of the other section (1a) are closed by lids (2,2a). The decatising cylinder (3), together with a further matching decatising cylinder (3a), are located in the section (1b) with the sealed ends. The design prevents stoppages in the fabric passing through, so that productivity is improved and processing costs are reduced.</p> |
