Bag formed from tube in woven material - has bottom end with two seams across closure strip forming double-thickness pointed flaps

The bag is formed from a tube in woven material (1) and has its bottom closure provided by a strip (2) in woven material whose yarn cross-over differs from that of the material (1). Seams (4) are arranged at a distance from the bottom corners of the bag and extend at right angles to the strip, thus forming pointed flat portions (5) consisting of two layers of material (1). The portions may be stitched to the material (1) and the bag is pref. turned inside out so that the portions lie on the inside. The material (1) may contain four parallel marking threads (7), the seams being secured at right angles thereto between two opposite pairs of threads (7).
