<p>Drum-type mixer for solid and liq. components of a mixt. e.g. in the prepn. of resin moulding materials with an admixture of glass, asbestos or silicate fibres, is fitted with a coaxial separate drive for a paddle mixer shaft. A coupling permits the drive of either just the paddle mixer shaft or of the shaft jointly with the drum case. The latter alternative ensures a gentle mixing action which prevents any additional size redn. of delicate fibres.</p> |
