<p>The baking oven comprises a cylindrical housing (14) with an electric heating element (21) incorporated in its base and a second heating element (31) positioned between the top of the oven and the cured back plate (12). The latter has the same dia. as the cylindrical housing (14) and access to the oven interior (13) is provided by a hinged door(s) (23,23') formed as part of the cylindrical housing (14) with a width and depth corresponding to the full width and height of the oven interior (13). Pref. each of the heating elements (21,31) comprises one or more heating rods or a gas burner pipe, both elements (21,31) heating the oven space (13) and the upper element (31) heating the back plate (12) to allow this to also be used for cooking.</p> |
