Fibre stack press containers - with yielding sidewalls through spring supports

Container in which stacks of fibres, esp. synthetic fibres, are pressed to cubical bales contains on a detachable bottom at least one, but preferably four side walls which can yield in the outward direction. This can be achieved by arranging springs between the inner walls and a closed outer wall. The inner walls are joined to each other at the corners through fingers in groove-and-tongue fashion. The need for heavy and expensive boxes which are needed to withstand the lateral action of press forces of 250 tonnes is eliminated.
