The time constant of a monostable determines the On-period of the electronic time switch. The circuit consumes less than 2mA in the off-state and may therefore be left permanently connected. The RC-element (2) in this circuit in conjunction with a variable resistor (P1) determines the On-period. This is followed by a Schmitt-trigger circuit (3) and an amplifier (4) which feed the lamp (L). The circuit is fitted to a sun visor the mirror of which reflects the light emitted by the lamp.
