Weather resistant powder lacquer coating on conductive surface - deposited electrostatically from solid mixt. contg. pigmented and non-pigmented lacquer powder

Powdery coating compsns. for electrostatic deposition on electrically conductive articles e.g. metals, contains by wt. 5-95% standard pigmented powder lacquer (A), admixed with 5-95% non-pigmented powder lacquer (B) to form a solid mixt. The compsns. can contain one or more thermosetting binder (prefd.) and/or thermoplastic binders. The pigmented lacquer compsns. (A) pref. contains a UV stabiliser. The addn. of (B) yields a pigmented lacquer film layer having increased weatherability and resistance to external effects, e.g. sea air, SO2-pollution and sunlight.
