Rescue aid for boat - has floating platform linked to boat by hinged ramp

The boat rescue aid has a floating platform (2) held beside the boat by a ramp (1) hinged between the float and the gunwhale. The platform enables swimmers to crawl out of the water without having to climb up vertical rescue nets or ladders. The ramp surface is textured for grip. The platform and ramp are made of rigid plastic and can be filled with compressed air. The ramp and platform are folded over the side of the boat to form a seat and are easily dropped into the water. A lifeline (3) with a lighted buoy (4) at the end aids the rescue.
