<p>Apparatus for determining the rate of flow of urine includes an elongate container (10) provided with a series of adjacent, upwardly open receptacles (16) separated from each other by partitions (14), and a vertical column (12) located at one end of the container (10) and having a longitudinal, tubular cavity (18) for receiving the urine. The bottom of the tubular cavity (18) in the column (12) communicates through a discharge port (38) with an outflow tube (40) projecting into the said end of the container (10) and having its axis inclined upwardly and towards the opposite end of the container (10) at an angle of substantially 45 DEG to the axis of the column (12).</p> |
