<p>The light meter has a simple housing mounted to swing into the enlarger optical system and to project the image into an analysing eyepiece, using an angled mirror. The mirror is set in front of a reference screen which is evenly illuminated by an adjustable reference lamp. The user adjusts the intensity of the reference lamp until the projected image has the same intensity as the surrounding screen. A gray scale wedge is slid in front of the enlarger lens to change the range of measurement. The analyser is simple to use and does not require colour correction.</p> |
