<p>The valve is for fluids, which pass from a feed pipe, into a cylindrical chamber, through the chamber side wall, and flow out from the chamber end wall. A hollow shut-off element (3), has a cylindrical wall (4) and a recess (5). Before mounting, the external radius of the element is larger, at the ends facing the recess, and smaller, in the centre between the ends, than the internal radius of the chamber. The element is inserted into the chamber aperture by turning, and the wall is elastically deformed. The recess is arranged for two feed pipe openings (2'), and partly opens both pipes, or completely blocks one of them.</p> |
