<p>The device brought into contact with the road surface, mounted on a vehicle and moved along the road, has a cutter roller driven hydraulically, movable up and down, with protruding cutter blades, in provision for removing road surfaces. The stripping device embraces a support frame (14), fitted at the rear end of the vehicle and combining with the vehicle frame (4) to form a rigid unit. This supports the cutter device (16), which can swivel up and down in relation to it. The two frames can be screwed together, at the rear end behind the vehicle's (2) rear axle (8), the support frame being additionally supported via a suspension point (36) in front of this axle. A height-adjustable support roller can provide for depth setting. There is no danger of damage to rear axle tube and cardanic housing tube.</p> |
