A nozzle flap valve having a nozzle, a fixed restrictor and a flap, is characterised in that the flap is of cylindrical construction and the cylindrical edge surface is arranged on the axis of the nozzle, so that the flap movement mechanism is simplified and the flap intermediate space is prevented from becoming blocked by dirt which is contained in the flow medium.
