A turning device with U-shaped runners 10, which form rolling surfaces on a stand which comprises a cross-strut 11 and guides 14 for cross pieces 13 with load-gripping forks 19. The cross pieces 13 and forks 19, as well as and chain rollers 21 on a wheeled stand 22 supported so that it can rotate, can be moved inside the circumference of the U-shaped sections 11 in order to enable manual turning of the device and the load strapped therein. The device is such, that the centre of gravity of the load held in the device is situated close to the centre of curvature 23 of the runners 10 in order to enable manual turning. The device can be used to turn all kinds of loads, e.g. stacks of paper and printed matter and can also be used as a truck for palleted goods. <IMAGE> |
