Smoke meter, which attaches exhaust graphite to filter paper after exhaust gas is absorbed and spouts pressing air in collection pipe (4) except at time of collecting smoke, is comprises of the first magnetic valve (10) between collection pipe (4) and pipe (9) feeding pressing air, the second magnetic valve (12) for isolating exhaust smoke in collection pipe, the third magnetic valve (11) for starting absorption of exhaust smoke. When the main switch is closed, the first magnetic valve is open and pressing air is feeded. When start switch is closed, first magnetic valve is closed and supply of pressing air is suspended.
