The semi-automatic weighing device is used for fruit being packaged in given wt. units and enables the supply of fruit to be interrupted when the desired wt. is reached. The feed is automatically interrupted so that the desired wt. is not exceeded. The feeder contains two vibrating elements (2,3) of different widths between a hopper or distribution container (1). The balance contains an electronic control unit which deactivates the vibrating elements when the desired wt. is achieved. Alternatively, the wider vibrator is stopped when the wt. is well below the desired level. The narrower vibrator is stopped when the desired wt. is actually reached. The weighing balance pan can be manually tilted. A side wall opens and the fruit is discharged, thus beginning a new cycle.
