The appts. is for setting fractured bones, and has a frame with leg fixing device. Two slides (1,2) are movable in the longitudinal direction of the frame and lockable, one forming a support for the pelvis and the other for the shoulders. Traction belts can be engaged in the slides, so as to exert traction or pressure between the leg fixing device and one of them, or between both of them. The shoulder slide can have an adjustable headrest in the longitudinal direction and lockable, while the leg fixing device can be an L-shaped frame section inserted in the frame side members.
