Spillage conveyor means (10) for handling material spilling from the return run (3) of an endless belt conveyor (1) comprises first and second working deck sections (11 and 12, respectively) for receiving material spilling from the associated portion of the return run, and reciprocating drive means (16) for urging a plough blade (14) to and fro over the first deck section, in one direction of movement the plough blade is arranged to urge material collected on the first deck section towards a material discharge (15). The second deck section is arranged for movement with the plough element and gate means (20, 21, 22) associated with the second deck section are arranged such that material collected on the second deck section substantially is allowed to move with the second deck section only in said one direction towards the material discharge and is swept from the second deck section onto the first deck section on the return of the plough. <IMAGE> |
