PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive structure or absorber that makes it possible to simply and objectively identify a region at which an odor generated depending on a lapse of time has been generated.SOLUTION: An absorptive structure or absorber contains an enzyme substrate type enzyme activity detection reagent that generates a poorly water-soluble pigment compound or fluorescent pigment compound through an enzyme reaction performed by an enzyme that decomposes an odorous component precursor to generate an odorous component. Preferably, the absorptive structure is an absorptive material 1 or the absorptive material's absorptive core 4.
