The invention concerns a vibration pickup for measuring of vibrations and impacts, especially vibrations formed during operation of machines and mechanical equipment. According to the invention, there is a lengthwise sleeve 2, an induction coil 3, 4 wound about the outside of the sleeve, a permanent magnet 1 moveably mounted inside the sleeve for motion in its axial direction, and permanent magnets 5, 6 mounted on the sleeve at axial distance from each other with free spaces 9, 10 between their inwardly turned pole pieces and the poles of the permanent magnet 1 turned toward them, wherein the poles of the stationary permanent magnets 5, 6 face like poles of the permanent magnet, and at least either the inner surface of the sleeve facing the permanent magnets or the outer surface of the permanent magnet facing the inner surface of the sleeve is coated with a friction-counteracting material. The vibration pickup according to the inventions can be made with relatively small dimensions, and is able to withstand even nonuniform temperature fields. <IMAGE> |
