Bulked multi-filament yarns exhibiting spun-filament appearance were prepd. by air-jetting a undrawn thermoplastic filament(I) and a drawn synthetic filament(II). Thus, I (undrawn polyester filament) was drawn by the roll-speed deviation between the first roller(1) and the second roller(5), heat-treated by the first heater(2) at 200≦̸C, cooled by cooling plate(3) and twisted by scrub-type twister(4). II was twisted by twister(4')without passing the first roller(1'), heater(2'), and cooling plate(3') and mixed with I at the air jet unit(8) to give a bulked multi-filament yarns.
