<p>A support device intended to receive loads arranged on the roof of a vehicle comprises preferably two support elements layed directly on the roof and conformed so as to facilitate the air flow in order to reduce the resistance to the travelling motion. Each support element, comprising a roof plate adapted to the shape of the body, comprises preferably a base plate (68) provided with a resilient element (70) covering at least partially its edge and through which the loads are transmitted to stable areas of the vehicle roof. Wedge-shaped elements (72) and/or attachement members (74, 76) for luggage racks or bicycles may be arranged on the base plate.</p> |
