PURPOSE:To reduce the number of light sources and photoelectric detectors to one each by integrating each one end of light transmission fibers and detection fibers separately to be equipped with a light source and a photoelectric detector while the other ends of the fibers are branched in plurality to face each other. CONSTITUTION:The integrated end 2a of light transmission fibers 2 is led into a housing 2a of a light generator 1 while the branched ends 2b, 2c and 2d thereof are arranged a long outside of an orbit O of an flying object 7 separately at specified distances L1 and L2. The integrated end 2'a of detection fibers 2' is led into a housing 3a of a photoelectric detector 3 while the branched ends 2'b, 2'c and 2'd thereof face the branched ends 2b, 2c and 2d of the light transmission fibers 2 sandwitching the orbit O of the flying object. When the flying object 7 passes intercepting light beams B, C and D, pulses are outputted from the photoelectric detector 3 and intervals thereof are measured to detect the velocity of the flying object 7. |
