<p>1. Single-use dosage of animal semen for artificial insemination of poultry, of the kind constituted by a tube (1) made of a relatively flexible material, and presenting a duct (4) for reception of semen whose inner diameter, which is relatively small in order that the semen introduced may be maintained therein by capillarity alone, is substantially bigger than the thickness of the cylindrical wall, one of the ends (3) of this tube terminating by a rim (5) constituted by the end of the wall turned inwardly of the tube, characterised in that the rim (5) is shaped in such a way that extreme edge (6) of the tube comes into direct contact with the internal face of the cylindrical wall (1) of the said tube and this rim (5) presents successively, in the axial direction and from the interior towards the free end (3) of the tube presenting the rim, first a convergent part (5a), then afterwards a divergent part (5b), the section of the rim (5) presenting over its whole length, between the free end of the tube (1) and its end edge (6) a continuous curvature.</p> |
