PURPOSE:To maintain a constant recording density irrespectively of recording speed and facilitate adjustment in use, by a method wherein the current-passing time for recording the following picture information is controlled according to the preceding picture information. CONSTITUTION:A curve 41 representing an ideal relationship of the current- passing time tau versus the time interval T between the preceding picture information and the following picture information is approximated by a broken line 42. Signals indicating a time interval of Tx are fed in at a terminal 51, the first counter 53 is set, the signals are accumulated in a latch circuit 54 and fed out to the second counter 55 as parallel outputs. A carry-out signal from the counter 55 is fed out to a control signal generating circuit 58 at a moment which is taux-tau0 after the timing of a load signal fed in through a terminal 56. A pulse having a width taux conforming to the time interval between the carry-out signal and a pulse fed to the terminal 51 is fed out from the circuit 58 through a terminal 59 as a control pulse which provides a current-passing time for recording the picture information fed in after the time interval of Tx. |
