PURPOSE:To prevent the irregularity of a development owing to the generation of hydrogen bubble, by performing the physically developing process after exposing an image forming layer contg. a compound generating a developed metallic necleus by reduction and a compound having a diazo group or an azido group on a supporting material by sparying a developer. CONSTITUTION:An image forming material A having an image forming layer 2 is which a compound generating a developed nucleus by the reduction, such as PdCl2, etc., and a compound having a diazo group or an azido group are dissolved or dispersed in a hydrophilic binder such as gelatine, etc., is prepared on a supporting material 1 such as a polyester film, etc. After the material A forms a developed metallic nucleus in a reducing bath contg. SnCl2 and HCl, and is exposed with a permeating original 3, and when it is developed with a physical developer contg. NiCl2, etc., and sodium hypophosphite etc., it is developed by spraying the developer to the layer 2. By this way, the generation of the irregular development caused by the generated hydrogen bubble sticking to the layer 2 is prevented and an image 2B having good resolution is obtained. |
