(a) 7.5 to 12.5 wt. % NiO; (b) Al2O3; and (c) 7.5 to 12.5 wt % ZnO, wherein the catalyst is simultaneously capable of greater than 5% sulfur removal and 20% to 60% tar removal from a synthesis gas containing tar and sulfur-containing compounds at a temperature in a range from 300° C. to 600° C. |
