The warning light has its transparent cover (2) connected to its casing (1) by a threaded ring (3) and rotated to set various modes of operation of the warning light (100). All electrical components are mounted on one circuit board (4) located in the casing and resting against the edge (12) of the cover. Contacts (25-28) are located on the side of the board facing the cover and cooperate with the cover in setting the mode of operation. The cover has a contact piece that bridges the contacts on the circuit board. The contact piece consists of a bracket-like spring contact strip (30).
