PURPOSE:To improve heat transmittance from a preheating burner to a material to be heated, by installing a combustion chamber forming plate on a burner cylinder so that the combustion chamber is formed between the burner cylinder and the material to be heated. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber forming plate 12 is installed on a burner cylinder 10 so that a flame 8 between the burner cylinder 10 and a material 11 to be heated is enclosed from a sideward direction, for example, a longitudinal side is made into a widening circular arc state and an end face is made into a linear state. A gap is provided between the combustion chamber forming plate 12 and the material 11 to be heated, which is made into a discharge opening 14 for combustion gas, air supply quantity is increased more than a conventional burner system so that air is supplied only from a burner, and a combustion chamber 13 is formed of a space which is sufficient to combustion and consists of the burner cylinder, the material 11 to be heated and the combustion chamber forming plate 12. With this, a velocity of flow of combustion gas from the discharge opening 14 for the combustion gas becomes larger and heat transmit efficiency from the burner to the material 11 to be heated is improved. |
