The present invention concerns a sign holder, preferably for anchoring of traffic signs. In order to produce a simple sign holder, which significantly enhances the possibilities of variation as regards anchoring of different types of sign in different ways, it consists of an elongated and essentially T-shaped section 1 with a transverse leg 3 configured for anchoring the section 1 in a transversely oriented position at one end portion of a pillar 2 via a clamping arrangement 7 located in the pillar 2, wherein the transverse leg 3 has a lengthwise groove 11 to accommodate the upper parts of one or more signs 12 and it has a lengthwise pair of grooves 14a, 14b for anchoring of one or more signs 15, which engage by the pair of legs 15a, 15b in the pair of grooves 14a, 14b and above lengthwise portions 16 preventing pull-down, and moreover the other leg 4 of the section 1 is directed upward and has a lengthwise groove 17 to accommodate the lower parts of one or more signs 18, which are secured to the section 1 against being pulled up, and it has a lengthwise pair of grooves 19a, 19b for anchoring of one or more signs 20, which engages by one pair of legs 20a, 20b in the pair of grooves 19a, 19b and underneath the portions 21 preventing pull-up. <IMAGE> |
