The under water crossbow has an elastic propulsion and is manually armed without danger to the user. A slide (7) moves on the tube containing the trigger. The latter is used to pull on the release bolt, held by cords. The slide is fixed at the end of its arming movement, so that the user can exert his full effort. The trigger, in the slide, is released until the firing position is reached. Arming is via a tilting cam (9) engaging across a hole in the tube section in the stock (b).
