<p>The hermetically sealed roller shutter comprises horizontal strips interconnected and attached to a cylinder along the top of the window by a sheet (9) of flexible material, which is resistant and impermeable to both air and water. One end of the sheet is secured to the cylinder (6), whilst the outer surface of the sheet is attached to the strips. The shutter runs in vertical guides containing seals, which bear onto the free surface of the sheet, when the shutter is deployed, to ensure air and water tightness.</p> |
