<p>A storage and handling system for sludges, muds and slurries which are prone to settle out into heavy deposits or light crusts, or both, employs one or more directionally-adjustable propeller agitators or a circulation pump with directionally-adjustable outlet nozzles to keep the contents of storage tanks in suspension. A mobile pump is used to withdraw liquid from the tank into a trailer-mounted tank which is towed to the point of distribution. A hose reel is used so that a distribution spray nozzle may be located remote from the mobile discharge pump. Used for the storage, handling and spreading of agricultural slurries as fertiliser.</p> |
