1. A process for the removal of unrequired gaseous components from waste gas which are produced during the combustion of carboniferous fuels by washing with a physically acting absorbent at below 0 degrees C, wherein after the absorption of the gaseous components, the absorbent is subjected to regeneration and recycled to the washing step, characterised in that, prior to their introduction into the washing step, the waste gases from the combustion are fed in the hot state into heat exchangers (3, 4) and are cooled in indirect heat exchange in two consecutive stages with gas streams to be heated, and wherein in the upper temperature range (5, 6) of the heat exchange, combustion air (50) required for the combustion of the fuel and an additional air stream are used as the gas streams to be heated, the additional air stream, after being heated, being used as a heating gas (41) for operating an absorption refrigerating unit (40) by means of which the cold requirements of the washing step are met.
|
