<p>The mounting is for tensioning, by using a plaited cable, of a rubber cable for an under water cross bow. It reinforces the metal fork around the end of the flexible strap and aids firing of the arrow by its loop entering the driving notch. The cable is made of an assembly of metal wires which are twisted and plaited. The two cable sides (1,2) have their ends joined to rings (2,3), holding them flexibly and forming a loop (5) of small diameter to reduce the required notch width.</p> |
