Burner nozzle unit for combustion of a gas/air mixture

A burner nozzle unit with a nozzle body and a nozzle jacket which encloses the nozzle body at a distance. The nozzle body has a central bore as main flame duct and several holding flame ducts which start from the main flame duct and surround it in a circular manner so that the holding flames keep the main flame burning and stabilise it. The holding flame ducts open at a circumferential cutout on the nozzle body, one side wall of which runs approximately at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the holding flame ducts. On the opposite side wall of the circumferential cutout, a ring is located on the nozzle body. Between the circumference of the ring and the inner wall of the nozzle material, there is a narrow gap which connects the inner space formed by the circumferential cutout to the free atmosphere. The longitudinal axes of the holding flame ducts are aligned on the ring which acts as a baffle when the gas/air mixture flows through. Moreover, homogenising swirling of the gas/air mixture takes place in the inner space.
