摘要 <p>Agglomerated, cellular, pyrotechnic material with adjustable porosity, comprises (a) an explosive powder and/or an explosive nitro deriv.; (b) an inorganic oxidising agent; (c) organic microspheres; and (d) a hardenable binder, in the following resp. amts. 1-65 wt.%, 0-75 wt.%, 0.2-12 wt.% and 15-40%. The material has improved combustion speed due to the presence of micropores which increase the flame front and the emitted thermal flux. It also has improved mechanical props., good temp. resistance up to 200 deg.C while being susceptible to decompose and burn, good combustion giving little solid residues, and insensitivity to impacts and friction. It can be produced safely. Applications are combustible cases, primer casings, and primer carrier tubes for ammunitions.</p>
