<p>The screw type bottle cap has a skirt forming a guarantee seal, the latter comprising a sheath (7) heat-shrunk against the cap periphery (4). On the top of the cap is a peripheral rib (8) with teeth (10) engaged by others on the tool screwing it home. The sheath is arranged so that, after shrinking, its top edge (7a) is below the bottom of the cap teeth (13), while its bottom edge fits over the bottom edge face (4a) of the cap. The cap teeth can be of sawtooth shape, their straight faces being in planes passing through the lengthwise axis of the plug, while their inclined faces only allow the straight faces to be engaged by those on the tool when screwed home.</p> |
